Today we investigated animal poo to find out if it had come from a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. We then had a go at making our own.... don't worry it wasn't real we used lots of porridge oats, got chocolate powder and different ingredients!

Movieland
Our class won a prize to attend a MovieLand screening of Strange Magic. It was a great way to spend our Friday afternoon.
Commotion in the Ocean
Caterpillars
In Year One we are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. We have watched our 5 caterpillars grow and wrap themselves up in a tight chrysalis. Now we are eagerly awaiting the transition into butterflies :-) look out for our next video.
Aboriginal Arts
As part of our Australia topic we have been learning about Aboriginal people. We have made Aboriginal wall paintings, boomerangs, didgeridoos, learning about life as an Aboriginal and Australia. Watch our video showing our busy Wednesday afternoon.
